Glasgow Lasting Legacy - A message from Kate Moore - with new images of the items for sale!

Do you know about the project?
You have the opportunity to be part of an exciting Soroptimist project that has been chosen as the Lasting Legacy of the XVIII International Convention.

How ?
Working with our partner Oxfam the project aims to improve public health for previously displaced families from communities in Central Mindanao in the Philippines. We will provide safe drinking water and sanitation facilities – improving health and quality of life. Our legacy in the Philippines will live on years after we have returned home from Glasgow. Are you curious about the quotation on the cover of the Leadership Book?

It was written by Samdromme Ewoton from Nairobi in Kenya. Although  Samdromme is only nine years old his quotation on leadership is truly profound. Please take time to read what he has written for the book.

        If I ruled the world:

        The streets would be clean,
        There wouldn't be any thieves,
        There could be no wars,
        There would be no rapists,
There would be more jobs for people,
        There would be more hospitals,
        Children would be educated,
        Women would have enough money,
        There would be good roads,
        There would be many houses,
There would be more shopping centres,
There would be more street lights
